Survey Data Acquisition and Deliverables for Remodelling of Indi Branch Canal System

Survey Data Acquisition and Deliverables for Remodelling of Indi Branch Canal System

Project Detail

Scope of Work

The project entails comprehensive survey data acquisition for the remodelling of the Indi Branch Canal System. It includes the establishment of Ground Control Points (GCPs) using Differential GPS (DGPS), followed by drone survey data acquisition using survey-grade drones and associated tools. The objective is to generate highly accurate Digital Surface Models (DSM), Digital Elevation Models (DEM), orthomosaic imagery, and CAD compilations. These outputs will help in producing Longitudinal and Cross Sections (LS & CS) at 30m intervals or at definable points along the canal.

Additionally, the scope involves densifying DGPS and level control from existing SECON-established controls as needed. The drone survey will also include aerial videography of the main canal.

Post-survey, the project includes data pre-processing and post-processing, assistance in quality control (QC), and joint site inspections. The final deliverables will consist of raw data files, point clouds, orthophotos (including single mosaic images), and a detailed survey report.

Purpose

To support the accurate and effective remodelling of the Indi Branch Canal System by providing high-resolution spatial and elevation data, enabling efficient planning, design, and execution of canal improvement works.
